FCC Console
A playful spin

A retro-futuristic desktop device for displaying useful—or purely whimsical—information. Console responds to the sameness of today’s consumer electronics by embracing a more tactile and characterful design language. With its circular display and click-wheel interface, it breaks from familiar digital paradigms, offering an analog-inspired way to engage with modern applications.
The software
You can try the FCC Console software right here! But if you're on mobile best to jump over to your computer. On the software simulator (web app) users can navigate through menu items using the arrow keys on their keyboard. Press Enter to select and hold down Esc to go back. Jump over to the simulator if you hit issues here or if you are on mobile best to check this out on a bigger screen.

The software has a number of apps available including Conway's game of life (top left), Prediction market visualization (top right), Spotify (bottom left) and MTA transport status in NYC (bottom right).
